¿Qué Pasa, Gringo?

What’s the Story?

I love a Margarita. So simple and easy to make, with the plus side of being most refreshing when nice and cold. You may think that you don’t like tequila (due to a number of BNO’s and copious shots of the stuff), but trust me its not all licking table salt of your hand and lime chasers! A Margarita is a classic. Easily balanced with the correct ratio of ingredients and can be enjoyed with or without a salt rim. If you don’t like drinking through salt then don’t use it – it’s not rocket science! Alternatively try a variation on a pure salt rim by using smoked sea salt, a salt and pepper mix or turning the whole affair into a foam. I do think that a barspoon of agave syrup makes the Margarita into a totally different drink giving a much richer mouthfeel that satiates on a whole other level!
